The national genealogy event Suku 2021 will be held after one-year pause. This time it will be online on Saturday and Sunday, March 20-21 and the language is Finnish. The weekend is organized by the Genealogical Society of Finland.

FFHA will take part in the event and, like other exhibitors, will participate on video and in real time in the event's exhibition hall (in Finnish) on its own exhibition channel.

Program is mainly in Finnish. In the virtual exhibition hall you can follow the program of our association and the presentation of our association through the below-mentioned channel. There is also counseling and you can participate yourself by asking questions, for example. Videos presenting the activities of our association (in Finnish) can be watched in the exhibition hall.

You can find our more detailed program here. In addition to a couple of longer presentations (digitizing original sources and Transkribus software for text recognition), FFHA's program consists of shorter presentations of genealogical themes. On Saturday afternoon, guidance is also available in English and Swedish. Please note that all times listed are UTC+2.

The hub of the event is the website of Suku 2021. There you will find all the exhibitors of the event (including FFHA) as well as e.g. links to presentation videos and the entire program for the event.

One hundred participants can be present on FFHA's channel at the same time.

A warm welcome to join and follow FFHA's channel and the other activities of the weekend!
