FFHA and Suku 2017-weekend event in Espoo, Finland 18.-19.3.

As a part of the genealogical week Suku 2017 (Family 2017) a genealogical weekend event will be held in Espoo, Finland at Aalto University, Undergraduate Center (address Otakaari 1) on Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th of March.  In addition to a booth our association has its own program during the course of the event including, for instance, a member meeting (see below).

The event is organized by Genealogical Society of Finland as a part of its 100 year jubilee. More information about the rest of the program can be found in the Genealogical Society of Finland Facebook group and website link (in Finnish).

12.00-13.00: Member Meeting

13.00-13.30: Lunch

13.30-14.00: Guidance to digitizing original parish records

14.15-14.45: Moving records as genealogical sources

15.00-15.30: Military records at FFHA image database (in Swedish)

In addition, our booth will be open on Saturday and Sunday, March, 18 and 19 from 9 A.M. to 4.30 P.M.
